GSPrimo Design Inc. was retained to provide temporary shoring design services for a proposed residential development located at Victoria Square Boulevard in Markham, Ontario. The project involved vertical excavations along property boundaries, requiring engineered shoring to safely support soil and adjacent conditions during construction.
The scope of services included review of available geotechnical information, geostructural analysis, and design of a temporary soldier pile and lagging shoring system. GSPrimo prepared design recommendations and construction guidance to ensure excavation stability, compliance with applicable codes and standards, and safe implementation of the temporary shoring works during the construction period.
