Church and Gunn Street, Wallacetown, Ontario – Nitrate Impact Assessment
GSPrimo Design Inc. completed a Preliminary Nitrate Impact Assessment for a proposed residential subdivision located at Church and Gunn Street in Wallacetown, Ontario. The study was undertaken to evaluate potential nitrate impacts associated with the use of on-site domestic sewage treatment systems, in accordance with MECP Guideline D-5-4 and applicable planning requirements.
The assessment was based on preliminary development information and included a review of site conditions, proposed lot layout, servicing assumptions, and nitrate loading considerations. The findings provided planning-level direction to support subdivision approvals and future servicing design, with recommendations intended to protect groundwater quality while allowing the project to advance through the regulatory process.
