GSPrimo performed a comprehensive geotechnical investigation for a large industrial development on Alyea Street in Woodstock, Ontario. The project involved a steel-framed industrial building with extensive paved areas, concrete pads, and landscaped spaces, requiring a detailed subsurface evaluation across a large site footprint.
The scope included borehole drilling, test pit excavation, SPT and DCP testing, laboratory analysis, and groundwater observations. GSPrimo developed foundation design strategies, including shallow foundations and ground improvement solutions, to address variable subsurface conditions. The investigation provided practical, construction-ready recommendations that supported efficient site development and long-term performance.
