GSPrimo Design Inc. prepared a Geotechnical Opinion Letter (Slope Condition Assessment Letter) for a proposed basement addition to an existing single-family dwelling located at Wychwood Park in London, Ontario, within the regulated area of the Upper Thames River Conservation Authority (UTRCA). The purpose of the letter was to provide professional geotechnical opinion regarding the potential impacts of the proposed works on short- and long-term slope stability and to support Conservation Authority review.
The scope included a visual site inspection, review of topographic and regulatory information, and evaluation of slope conditions and drainage patterns. GSPrimo provided construction and setback recommendations, erosion and sediment control considerations, and guidance for excavation and site management to support the safe implementation of the proposed addition without adverse effects on the adjacent slope feature.
