Coon Road, Port Stanley, Ontario – Garage Addition (Slope Stability Assessment)
GSPrimo Design Inc. completed a Geotechnical Slope Stability Assessment Report to support a proposed garage addition at Coon Road in Port Stanley, Ontario, as part of a minor variance application with the Township of Southwold. The work was completed to address slope and erosion hazard considerations identified by the Kettle Creek Conservation Authority (KCCA) related to an adjacent gully and watercourse valley system.
The assessment included site inspection, topographical review, borehole investigation, geotechnical evaluation, and erosion hazard limit/setback review in general conformance with applicable provincial guidance. GSPrimo provided recommendations and planning-level direction to support a compliant building location and construction approach, helping the project proceed while managing risk near the regulated gully feature.
