Wellington Road, St. Thomas, Ontario – High-Rise Residential Development & Slope Stability
GSPrimo performed a geotechnical investigation and slope stability assessment for a proposed high-rise residential development located along Wellington Road in St. Thomas, Ontario. The project involved a multi-storey residential building with podium-level parking and required a detailed evaluation of subsurface conditions to support structural design and site development.
The scope included borehole drilling, Standard Penetration Testing (SPT), laboratory testing, and slope stability analysis. GSPrimo provided foundation recommendations, grading and servicing guidance, pavement design criteria, and slope stability considerations, ensuring the development met safety and performance requirements. The investigation supported informed design decisions and helped mitigate geotechnical and slope-related risks during construction.
